Association for Urban Creativity: 3rd Annual Conference 2014 – Call for paper and poster

We would like to inform you that the 3rd AUC conference will be held in Osaka, Japan on July 22-24, 2014. The conference is organized by AUC office in Osaka City University.
CALL FOR PAPER AND POSTER: THEME AND FOCUS
The 3rd AUC conference is now seeking your submission of papers and posters, which will focus on the theme, “Inclusive Creative City and Cultural Diversity”. We welcome work that focuses on the concepts and case studies from any part of the world; we especially welcome work that asks critical questions of normative approaches and work that deals with cities beyond North American/European. Internationally focused submissions are encouraged.
2014 AUC conference Sub themes including:
1. Cultural policy and the city2. Creative cities, clusters, quarters and hubs3. Art and the resilient city4. Knowledge exchange, intermediaries and the creative process5. Inclusive cities and culture6. Scenes and the cultural economy7. Urban creativity, nature and human8. Social design and global network
However, we would be happy to consider papers that do not fit directly in these topics. We invite papers and posters from a wide disciplinary field; multiple foci on our object of interest are welcomed.
